Frequently Asked Questions
Here are answers for some of the most commonly asked questions about
the Healey.
Where is the building located?
The Healey Building is located at 57 Forsyth Street, N.W., in Downtown
Atlanta's Fairlie-Poplar Historic District, one block from Peachtree
Street, Woodruff Park, and the Five Points intersection. The Healey is
located equidistant from Five Points and Peachtree Center MARTA rail

Where may I find information on units for sale?
There are many ways to find out about new units still available or
units available for resale.
This web site includes listings for the building. Visit the Units for Sale page to
check current listings, as available. The same list is available at the
Healey front desk. These are resales.
There are several ways to find out about the latest condo sales:
classified real estate ads in Creative Loafing
(weekly) and the Atlanta Journal
Constitution (daily). In both papers, units frequently appear for
sale under lofts and/or condos. Or you may contact a realtor for
listings at the Healey Building, 57 Forsyth Street.
What types of units are found in the building?
The building includes one- and two-bedroom units, with a range of floor
plans. Many of the units feature walk-in closets and all include spa
bathtubs. The "Oliver" unit is a one-bedrom unit that includes an

What are some of the basic amenities of building units?
The building offers high-speed Internet, satellite television, 24-hour
security, workout room, meeting room, and guest suite. For a full list,

What is the history of the building?
The Healey Building was constructed in 1913, just before World War I.
In the 1990s, it underwent extensive interior renovation. In 2001 the
building opened as condos, developed by Ultima Holdings, LLC. A detailed history is available.
Are pets allowed?
Pets are permitted, except for those restricted by the condominium
documents. There are many dogs, cats and other pets in the building.
What type of security does the building have?
The building has staffed, 24-hour security, with security officers
working a station in the lobby, plus performing scheduled rounds around
the building. The building lobby is open to the public on weekdays, who
come in to eat, do business, etc. It closes 6 p.m., after which you
need a security keycard or have to have a security office let you in.
The building is locked on the weekend as well. Use of the elevators and
entry into the stairwell, mail/garbage room, meeting room, and workout
room, requires entry of a security keycode. For further information,

What services are covered by condo fees?
The condominium assessment fee covers common expenses e.g., master
insurance policies, maintenance of common areas, security, building
management, etc. It also covers high-speed Internet services for
residential units, satellite television service, and unit water. For

What provisions are there for parking?
The Healey does not have its own dedicated parking. Most residents with
cars park in the 55 Marietta Building's parking desk, one block away,
while others park at the Commerce Club or other nearby decks or lots.
Street parking in the area is metered and not appropriate for daily or
overnight parking. Parking decks offer monthly and yearly leases.
Is The Healey convenient to mass transit?
The Healey is located at the heart of the Atlanta area's transit
system. Two MARTA rail stations (Five Points and Peachtree Center) are
located in short walking distance and many convenient bus routes pass
through or originate in the immediate area. These include the 10
(Peachtree), 3 (Auburn Ave. / Little Five Points / Candler Park), and
16 (Virginia Highland). In addition, suburban bus routes and express
service -- Gwinnett County Transit, Cobb Community Transit, etc. --
also operated out of Downtown, making it simple for Healey residents to
travel to the suburbs by bus. For more about public transit Downtown,

How do I contact the Board?
To communicate with the Board, please go through the management company
(see below).
Could you please tell me about your condominium Board?
The Healey Condominiums has an active homeowners’ board and
several committees whose activities are, in part, supported by the
homeowners’ assessment fee. The Healey Homeowners’
Association Board has 5 members – a president, vice president,
treasurer, secretary, and member at large. For more information, read

How is the building managed?
The Healey Condominiums are managed by Piedmont Management
Associates, a condominium management company. PMA heads up the
day-to-day operation of the building and is responsible for arranging
building maintenance, advising the Board of Directors, and collecting
condo fees. The manager for the building is Cumba Bass at

operated by Ultima Holdings, LLC.
What's the neighborhood like?
The Healey is located in Downtown Atlanta, in the Fairlie-Poplar
Historic District. The area features a host of amenities: sports
venues, entertainment, theaters, parks, museums, government offices,
post offices, restaurants, and all sorts of shopping and services. For
